Susan Lynn Stoltzman, age 52, of Good Thunder, died unexpectedly on Sunday, March 31, 2019 at home.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 6 at 11:00 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, Mankato. Visitation will be Friday, April 5 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Northview-North Mankato Mortuary and will continue one hour prior to the service at church. Burial will be at Barnard Valley View Cemetery in Good Thunder.
Susan was born on April 27, 1966 in Evanston, IL to Dick and Jan (Balles) Lewis. She graduated from Mankato West High School in 1984 and Rasmussen College. Susan was united in marriage to Scott Stoltzman on May 18, 1991 in Mankato. Susan loved being a mom, her pride and joy were her children, Katie and Mitchell. Susan worked at Carlson Craft and Rasmussen College. The last several years she has devoted her time to crafting. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, cross stitch, and cooking. Susan organized community activities and was in charge of Thursday night bingo at the Thunder Bar for many years. She loved her pets, Remington and Bently. Susan loved her family and was looking forward to becoming a grandma in August.
Susan is survived by her husband, Scott of Good Thunder; daughter, Katie (Justin) Fahey of Lake Crystal and their baby girl due in August; son, Mitchell Stoltzman of Mankato; parents, Dick and Jan Lewis of Mankato; siblings, Dave (Paige) Lewis of Geneva, IL, Kate Lewis of Woodbury, and Jim (Becca) Lewis of Mankato; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Tom and Norita Stoltzman of Lake City, MN; sisters-in-law, Shawn (Jay) Weide of St. Louis Park and Kelly (Bob) Salfer of North Mankato; nieces and nephews, Austin and Kennedy Lewis, Alexa and Brian Lewis, Augusta Weide, David Lally, and J.T. and Mara Salfer. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Vosse and Ruby Lewis, John and Kathryn Balles, Maynard and Ann Stoltzman, and Herman and Helen Sternitzke.
