Suzanne K. Holland

Suzanne K. Holland, age 77, of North Mankato, died on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at her home.

Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Messiah Lutheran Church, North Mankato. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the church. Private family interment will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery in St. James.

Suzanne Kaye, the daughter of Bert and Ella (Lee) Ellanson, was born on March 31, 1945 in Linden Township, MN. She graduated from Hanska High School in 1963 and Mankato Cosmetology School. She was united in marriage to Dennis Holland on May 23, 1964 at First Lutheran Church in St. James. Suzie was previously employed at Garfield and Hoover Elementary Schools in Mankato as a paraprofessional and Corporate Graphics International in North Mankato. She was a member at Zion Lutheran Church in Hanska and Messiah Lutheran Church in North Mankato. Suzie enjoyed volunteering for the Mankato Area Youth Hockey Association and watching the Minnesota North Stars and Wild. She was an avid reader and loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Stacie (Greg) Cook, Amy (Paul) Baer, Jada (Ron) Reemer, and Shane (Kelly) Holland; grandchildren, Joshua, Shayla, Nicholas, Kyle (fiancé, Kayla), Ryan, Jake (Tressa), Kia, Kalie, Colton, Lily, Paige, and Ella; step grandchildren, Kayleigh (Brian), Brandon (Cait), Weston (Sam); 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Ethel Miller and Garnett (Warren) Anderson; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dennis in 1989; granddaughter, Mara; brother, Walter Ellanson; and brother in law, Don Miller.
