Talia Michelle Otto

Talia Michelle Otto, 38, of Mankato, MN, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2024.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1-6 pm, on Sunday, August 11, 2024, at the Sibley Park Pavilion in Mankato. A short commemorative message will begin at 1:30 pm. All whose lives Talia touched are invited to attend.

Talia was born on March 11, 1986, in Worthington, MN. After Talia graduated from Aitkin High School in 2004, she attended Fergus Falls Community College where she played on the Women’s Volleyball Team. She later went on to complete her CNA in Phoenix, AZ, and worked at Freedom Home Care and the Mayo Clinic in Mankato.

Talia’s biggest passion in life was her boys. For her, the sun rose and set on them. She also loved mountain biking, hiking, paddleboarding, playing and coaching volleyball, listening to music (effortlessly memorizing the words after one listen), watching movies, doing anything that involved being outdoors. She was a gifted athlete and artist, a free spirit and source of sunshine and joy for all who knew her.

Talia is survived by her sons, Simon Otto (9), and Milo Lee (3); parents, Terry and Debra Otto; sisters, Briana (David) Efram, Madalyn Otto, and Isabel Otto (David Lawrence); niece, Elsie Efram, and nephews Allan Efram, Aedan Otto, and Maddox Lang.

Talia was preceded in death by grandparents, Carl and Mildred Otto, and Walter and Laurene Bloch.
