Ted Henry Prange

Ted Henry Prange, age 82, of Mankato, died Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Oaklawn Rehabilitation Center.

Memorial service will be held at 11am, Monday, November 22, 2021 at Northview ~ North Mankato Mortuary with visitation held one hour prior. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Mankato. The service will be livestreamed and available on Ted’s obituary page at www.mankatomortuary.com.

Ted was born February 15, 1939 in Mankato to Arnold and Beryl (Hendricks) Prange. He graduated from Lake Crystal High School in 1957. On November 29, 1958, he was united in marriage to Lenore “Pat” Lenway in Ironwood, Michigan. They were blessed with two children, Diane and Bruce. Ted worked as a claims adjustor at State Farm for 26 years before starting his own company, TH Prange Adjusting. Ted loved gardening, spending time up north, feeding the birds, telling jokes, and spending time with his family. Ted also enjoyed many other hobbies.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 63 years, Pat Prange of Mankato; children, Diane (Steve) Biedscheid of Mankato and Bruce (Dawn) Prange of Mankato; grandchildren, Elyse (Brett) Anderson of Mankato, Bryan (Natalie) Prange of Chanhassen, Brandon (Bridget) Prange of Mankato, and Brianna Prange of Rochester; great-grandchildren, Evan Anderson, Chase Anderson, Calvin Prange, and Charlotte Prange; siblings, Terry (Sandy) Prange of New Ulm, Phyllis (Lloyd) Piepho of Savage, and Trip (Andy) Riutcel of Iowa; sister-in-law, Jo Ann Prange of Kansas; and many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends.

Ted was preceded in death by his parents; sister and brother-in-law, Sandy and Bill Blackley; and brother, Loren Prange.
