Terrance "Terry" Alan Maher

Terrance “Terry” Alan Maher, age 58, of Mankato passed away on January 11, 2024 of an accidental head injury.

Memorial Mass will be at 3 p.m., on Monday, January 22, 2024 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Mankato with visitation an hour before service at the church as well. Burial will be at a later date. No flowers please. Mankato Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.

Terry Maher was born Toronto, Canada on December 5, 1965, to Barbara (Vacha) and William Maher.

Terry moved to Minnesota at age one and attended Mankato area schools, and then graduating from Loyola Catholic School in 1984. He moved to St. Paul, MN shortly after, and trained to be a boiler engineer. After certification, he worked in schools in St. Paul, Colorado, and Mankato. Most recently, he was at Kennedy Elementary.

He is survived by his mother, Barbara of Mankato, Minnesota; brother, Brian Maher of Bellingham, Washington; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins in Minnesota and Canadian Provinces.

He was preceded in death by his father, William (2018), both of his Maher and Vacha grandparents and his dog, Sparky.
