Thomas "Tom" Gerard Jongbloedt

Thomas “Tom” Gerard Jongbloedt, age 59, of Mankato, died Saturday, March 2, 2019 at River’s Edge Hospital in St. Peter.

Tom was born September 21, 1959 in Mankato. He grew up in rural St. Clair, graduating from St. Clair High School in 1978. Over the years, Tom worked for Farmland Industries in Mankato, and for the last 20 years, in maintenance at Minnesota State, Mankato. Tom married Laurie Doyle on August 10, 1990. They were blessed with twins, Weston and Callie, on March 8, 1995.

Tom enjoyed weekends camping (with his family and dogs), working outdoors and in his shed, and most of all, spending time with his grandson, Oliver.

He is survived by his wife, Laurie, of Mankato; daughter, Callie, of Radford, VA; son, Weston, of Nicollet; and grandson, Oliver. Tom was preceded in death by his father, Albert.
