Tom Strusz

Thomas James Strusz, 73, of North Mankato, died Sunday, September 22, 2024 from lung cancer.

Tom was born to James and Beverly Strusz (nee Breitbarth) on June 18, 1951. He attended and graduated from Mankato West High School in 1969. After high school, Tom studied auto mechanics at Mankato Vocational School. He was employed by Kato Engineering for 40 years.

Tom enjoyed fishing, coin collecting, and watching westerns.

He is survived by his wife, LuAnn Strusz of North Mankato; daughter, Krista (Alex) Villegas of Boynton Beach, FL; son, Daniel Strusz of St. Peter; brother, Don (Julie) Strusz of Mankato; sister, Debbie (Roger) Murphy of LaVergne, TN; and brother-in-law, Steve Kovich of Jordan.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, James and Beverly.
