Veronica Marie Moses

Veronica Marie Moses, age 80, of Mankato, died on September 13, 2022 at Ecumen Pathstone Living.

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Hosanna Lutheran Church, Mankato.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.  Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Madelia.  Northview-North Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. Veronica was born on December 8, 1941 in Mapleton, MN to Howard and Lucille (Bartusek) Larson.  She graduated from Mapleton High School in 1959 and later from Mankato Vocational School.  Veronica was united in marriage to Merle Moses Sr. on June 5, 1959, in Mapleton.  They met at a roller rink and were married for 63 wonderful years. They farmed together in Madelia until 1969 and then moved to Mankato.  Veronica retired from Immanuel St. Joseph’s Hospital/Mayo Clinic Health System in 2006 after working for 36 years as a monitor tech in ICU/CCU.  Veronica enjoyed knitting, crafts, camping, gardening, and she loved to read.  She was the best at cooking and baking. She was also a member of Hosanna Lutheran Church.  Most of all, Veronica loved her time spent with her family.

Veronica is survived by her husband, Merle Sr.; children, Merle Jr., Michael (Tammy), and Misty (Paul) Ellingworth; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and stepbrothers and stepsisters.  She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
