Dennis Johnson

Dennis Remmele Johnson, 82, of Mapleton, died May 5, 2022, at the Beacon in Mapleton.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Union Cemetery in Mapleton. Olson-Tichenor Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Dennis was born May 15, 1939 to Arthur and Gladys (Remmele) Johnson in Marshall, Minnesota. He graduated from Echo High School in 1958. In 1977 he and Arlene Wiedman were married in Mapleton, where they resided throughout their marriage.

Dennis is survived by his sister, Naomi Osborn, of Minnetonka and sister-in-law, Shirley Peterson, of Mankato. He was preceded in death by his wife, Arlene, in 2000 and brothers-in-law, Don Peterson and Francis Osborn.
